Ruth’s work is informed by nature and organic growth and allowing the materials she uses to speak and dictate how she works and how each project evolves.

Ruth works with multiple mediums and loves learning how each one behaves and works alongside designs and practice, with the goal of collaborating with the materials themselves and the people they are intended for.

Recent work includes creating, in collaboration with dancers, costumes for an interactive performance at the Exeter Arts Festival, based on moths and deer.
