Jess’ use of metallic paints and inks, texture and layering on canvas creates works that shift in tone and depth as the light changes throughout the day.Her process is intuitive, with landscapes and colour palettes emerging naturally. These recurring themes reflect her love of nature and her fascination with awe-inspiring expansive spaces.

Only recently returning to painting after almost 20 years without it, Jess has spent the past few months rediscovering and working on her style, which is still emerging.

She spends as much time as she can at the studio painting alongside running two businesses. One a global membership, Wild Coworking, for self-employed women and NB people. And the other a marketing consultancy working with the NHS.

The studio is her sanctuary and her paintings an escape.
