Edie graduated from UWE with a BA in Illustration in 2018 and has been working freelance as an illustrator and screen printer ever since. She is also a member of Seadog Collective, regularly tabling at illustration fairs.
Her work is often personal and aims to create comfort through relatability and honesty. She creates comics with her signature faux-risograph style, occasionally animating them for social media. She also uses her professional screen printing experience to create
high-quality prints and her own clothing merchandise.
Edie finished her first full length graphic novel ‘Adrift’ in 2022 about water polo, queerness and navigating your early 20’s. In 2023 her pitch for ‘Sea Nettle Beach’, a quirky and thrilling murder mystery, was long-listed for the Self Made Hero First Graphic Novel
Prize.
She loves the colours pink, blue and yellow, animating wiggly lines and drawing the ocean.
