Everyone is invited and ou r pace will be dictated by the abilities of the participants on the day.\n \nRattles &\; Accessories Workshop\nJude Hutchins from In Bristol Studi o will be running a free drop in workshop from 2pm-4:30pm.  Come along to this creative workshop to make your own rattles and costume accessories t o show off at the BIG UP! Parade that is taking place at 4:30pm.  Make so me noise for Barton Hill!! Suitable for 8 years+. \n\nLantern  Workshop\ nDee Moxon from Lamplighters Arts CIC will be sharing information about Ch urch Road Lantern Parade 2025 which takes place on Saturday 6 December at 4.30pm.  Join a Collapsible Lantern Workshop from 1-4pm. Donations toward s the lantern parade are welcomed. This workshop is suitable for AGES 4- 1 04. Lights for your lanterns can be purchased or use your own battery fair y lights\, torches or bike lights. This activity is funded by National Lot tery Community Fund and Bristol CC Imagination fund.\n\nOther Activities & amp\; Information Stands:\n\n It is hoped that Avonfire Services will be in attendance with a Fire Appliance providing information about keeping yo ur family and home safe.\n Dr Bike will be attending so bring your bicycl e along for a free service/repair\n In Bristol Studio will also be runnin g a Tuck Shop where the community can purchase affordable healthy snacks a nd drinks.\n The Little Library will be in attendance with an information stand and free activities for children/young people.\n Imayla will be se tting up an exhibition of artwork created over summer sessions and a drumm ing circle too.\n Ok to Play will be setting up an  information stand to present their ongoing Barton Hill project looking at how children and fam ilies perceive play opportunities in the local area. They will also provid e a loose parts playscape/activity for children - this is primarily aimed at primary age but from experience all ages will be able to engage.\n Bri stol Somali Youth Voice will be running free activities and providing info rmation and support.\n Travelling Light Theatre Company will be providing drama and craft activities for children and families.\n East Central Fam ily Hub will be setting up an information stand promoting family services and activities\, parenting courses &\; groups in the local area.\n Gre engage Project will be running Citizen Science Missions and their Conversa tion Station in the Ducie Road Pocket Park throughout the day.\n Wellspri ng Settlement will be providing access to toilet facilities in the Ducie R oad Community Hall\, alongside a Pop-Up Cafe with delicious affordable foo d.  They will also providing tea\, coffee and cake and a craft activity i n the Urban Park (relocating to the Beam Street site if the weather is bad ).\n St Luke's Church will be providing information about their forthcomi ng activities and events.\n Barton Hill History Group will be in the hall at the Ducie Road Settlement running an activity based on the Women that made Barton Hill project.
