Amy is a skilled artist and workshop facilitator working in community arts, events and festivals. Her work is celebratory and inclusive and covers a broad range of skills including carnival costumes and puppets, sewing and textiles, photography and printmaking and site-specific installations.
Amy has created ambitious installations, sculptures and carnival puppets for large events
including Glastonbury Festival, Shambala Festival, Boomtown Fair, Bristol Harbour Festival and
The Mayor’s Thames Festival. Amy regularly delivers creative projects and workshops in schools,
health settings and with communities across Bristol and the UK. Recent projects include; Artist
in Residence at Bannerman Road Primary School and Lead Artist for Dreamtime Arts – an arts
and wellbeing group for mothers in partnership with Wellspring Healthy Living Centre and local
Amy is a chair/director of two arts organisations based at In Bristol Studios – Phoenix 52 and The
Lamplighters. Both groups work with local people to co-ordinate and deliver spectacular events
such as Phoenix 52′ Illuminate and The Lamplighter’s Church Road Lantern Parade.
