Florence Meadows’ practice explores captured moments of light, space, and shadow, reflecting the impermanence of nature and the passing of time. It focuses on the creation and re-imagination of found spaces through photomechanical processes such as cyanotype.
Florence likes to explore the material surface – often working with found / scrap paper which further amplifies the images ephemeral subject.
Collage is also central to her practice as a process of experimentation preserving the sense of freedom and continuous possibility.
