Some materials are offcuts from other woodworkers’ projects, while others come from vintage furniture broken beyond repair. Many are forgotten treasures, hidden under old varnish, saved from landfill or discovered in sheds and garages where they have lain waiting for years ‘just in case’ of finding their perfect use.

Bianca mixes all the colours of her signature palette by hand, and combines them to complement the different tones of the woods she uses. Designs are inspired by everything from landscapes and the world around us, to fabric prints and works of Art.

Bianca has worked with wood in many capacities over the years, and still takes on occasional furniture commissions. She is driven by a passion for sustainability. This led her to making Jewellery in the first place and now informs every aspect of her practice from the wood itself, to the processes, packaging and metals.’
